As of now, Mumbai University does not offer an MSc in Psychology through its distance education wing, the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL). While Mumbai University offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different streams via distance education, Psychology at the postgraduate level is typically available only in regular mode.

The B.Sc. in Psychology have about sixty intakes of students every year at the NSHM Institute of Health Sciences, Kolkata.  The Bangalore Institute of Management and Science (BIMS) has a solid placement record, although it does not guarantee 100placement for all courses. But generally speaking, no college can give 100% placement assistance either the job opportunities given by the college is not very attractive and they force the students to sign a form according to which the student is not accepting the opportunity .
