No, Work experience is not always mandatory or required for PhD in Psychology courses, also it depends on the type of course you are going to pursue, and also on the institutions, but it can be beneficial, especially for specializations like organizational or clinical psychology.

NIPM and MIT School of Distance Education use different placement records to determine the effectiveness of each course offered. It provides 85% placement assurance with offer defining packages starting from 4-12 Lacs per annum. It's best for you if you get into a reputed firm such as Accenture or Infosys.
