As of now, Mumbai University does not offer an MSc in Psychology through its distance education wing, the Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL). While Mumbai University offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different streams via distance education, Psychology at the postgraduate level is typically available only in regular mode.

The B.Sc. in Psychology have about sixty intakes of students every year at the NSHM Institute of Health Sciences, Kolkata. This three year undergraduate course is linked to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.
