PTU MCA Selection Process

Once the seats are allotted through the PTU MCA counselling, the candidates must confirm their admission before the final date. Seat confirmation can be done by:

• Reporting to their allotted campus
• Paying the required fee
• Submitting the mentioned documents. 

If the candidates are unable to confirm their admission before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled.

For PTU MCA admission, the candidates are required to have passed the graduation degree - BE/BTech/B.Sc./B.Com/BA/B.Voc./BCA, etc., with mathematics. They should have obtained a minimum of:

• 50% marks for the General Category
• 45% marks for the Reserved Category

For the PTU MCA admission process, documents that need to be kept ready for verification include: 

• Undergraduate marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Counselling fee deposit slip
• Domicile certificate
• Character certificate
• Medical certificate
• Seat allotment letter 
• Category certificate
• A recent passport-size photo

PTU MCA admission process will be held online. Candidates will have to register and fill out the counselling form to participate in the admission process. The required application/counselling fee has to be paid online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. The candidates will also have to select their choice of campuses in the order of preference. The authorities will announce the PTU MCA seat allotment result online. The selected candidates will have to confirm their admission before the final date. 

As per the official eligibility criteria, the candidates must have passed BCA/Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree/B.Sc/B.Com/BA with Math at 10+2 or Graduation Level to be eligible for PTU MCA admission. Check the eligibility criteria before applying.
