PU UGLAW 2025 merit list for BA LLB (Hons.) and BCom LLB (Hons.) courses will tentatively be released in July 2025. The merit lists for the two programmes will be released separately at uglaw.puchd.ac.in.

Candidates whose names are mentioned on the PU UGLAW merit lists 2025 will be considered for admission BA LLB (Hons.) and BCom LLB (Hons.) courses offered by Panjab University.

Yes, there is an age limit to apply for the PU UGLAW (Panjab University Undergraduate Law Entrance Exam). Candidates must be under the age of 22 years as of January 1 of the year in which they are applying. For candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), the upper age limit is generally relaxed by two years, making it 24 years.

The 2nd round of PU UGLAW counselling has already started or admission to BA LLB at UILS Chandigarh. Infact, the results are also out on the college website. PU and its law centre offers a total of 480 seats through PU LLB entrance test.

The mediums of the PU UGLAW exam question paper will be three languages: Punjabi, Hindi, and English. This means the questions in the question paper of the PU UGLAW exam will be in three languages: Punjabi, English, and Hindi. However, the English section of the question will be in the English language only. Thus, candidates who opt for Punjabi or English as their medium to take the exam will have to solve the English section in the English language. The PU UGLAW exam is conducted in the three languages mentioned here because it will allow candidates from all regions of India to apply for the exam.

The marking scheme of the PU UGLAW exam explains how the marking criterion based on which candidates' performance in the exam is being evaluated. The PU UGLAW marking scheme is mentioned below: 

1 correct answer = +1 mark

1 incorrect answer = -0.25 or - 1/4 mark

1 Unattempted answer = 0 mark

There will be a total of 100 marks in the PU UGLAW exam question paper. For each correct answer, candidates will get 1 mark. If answer a question incorrectly, you will receive -0.25 mark (-1/4) mark. Thus, 4 incorrect answers will lead the dedution on 1 mark in the PU UGLAW exam. If you skip a question or do not answer it, you will lose any mark
