Yes,  0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer in PU UGLaw exam and candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer.

Candidates will be asked 20 questions from Legal Aptitude section in the PU UGLAW exam. Candidates will be askd questions from Torts, Law of Crimes, Vicarious Liability, Strict Liability, International Law, Legal Awareness covering Constitutional Law and Polity, Contracts and Constitutional Law, Intellectual Property Rights, etc. To prepare for this exam, candidates must read the bare acts, practice questions and refer to the previous year papers.

PU UGLAW exam total mark is 100. For each correct answer, candidates will get 1 mark. You will get -0.25 mark (-1/4) mark for a wrong answer. For unattempted answer, no mark is deducted. The marking scheme is mentioned below:

1 correct answer = +1 mark

1 incorrect answer = -0.25 or - 1/4 mark

1 Unattempted answer = 0 mark
