The PU UGLAW 2026 result will be declared tentativley in May 2026. Candidates will be able to check the result on the official UGLAW exam website - uglaw.puchd.ac.in once it is declared. Based on the PU UGLAW result 2026, admission will be offered to the following institutes: 

  • University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
  • University Institute of Laws, Panjab University Regional Centre Civil Lines, Ludhiana.
  • University Institute of Legal Studies, Swami Sarvanand Giri, PU Regional Centre, Bajwara, Hoshiarpur.

The last date to fill out the PU UGLAW 2026 is April 9, 2026. Candidates can submit a printout of the form along with the required documents for claiming the concession of Entrance Test Fee for SC/ST/PwD/P.U. Employees must adhere to the deadline ascertained by the exam authority.

The PU UGLAW 2026 admit card or the PU BA LLB / BCom LLB entrance exam 2026 admit card will be released on the official UGLAW exam website of the Panjab University - uglaw.puchd.ac.in a few days before the exam. Candidates will have to download their admit card before the exam date. The PU UGLAW 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode at exam centres in Chandigarh. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their admit card to the exam centre on exam day. Without the admit card, they will not be allowed to appear in the exam. They also need to carry an original copy of their Aadhar Card/ PAN Card / Passport.

The PU UGLAW 2025 exam will be conducted on April 27, 2025, 10 AM to 11:30 AM in online mode at test centres in Chandigarh. Candidates need to reach the exam centre at least 75 minutes before commencement of the exam. They need to carry a printed copy of their PU UGLAW 2025 admit card along with 4 passport size photos and a valid ID proof. They can carry one of the following ID proofs: 

  • Aadhar Card
  • Voter ID
  • PAN Card
  • Passport

The application form the PU UGLAW 2026 exam (PU BA LLB/BCom LLB) entrance exam will be released in March (tentaive). The application form will be released on the official UGLAW exam website of the Panjab University - uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Candidates need to note that the application form can only be released online on the website mentioned here.

The SC / ST / Backward Class / PwD category candidates need 10% marks and candidates from all other categories need 15% marks. The minimum qualifying marks for each category is based on the category-based reservation criterion. There will be total 100 question in the exam carrying 1 for mark each. Thus, SC / ST / Backward Class / PwD category candidates will have to achieve 10 marks to pass the PU UGLAW exam. However, General category candidates need 15 marks to qualify for the exam.

PU UGLAW 2026 entrance test has MCQ type questions. These quesions are asked from four subjects, namely, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Aptitude for Law, Mental Ability, and English Language. Based on these subjects there will be four sections in the question paper of the exam. Candidates will have to answer all these questions within 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes). There will be a total of 100 question in the question paper.

Yes, you can get into the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS) at Panjab University with a 70 percent score in PU UGLAW. The eligibility criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce LLB (Hons.) program at UILS is a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 examination from any recognized Board/University. However, the admission to the BCom LLB (Hons.) program is based on merit determined through an entrance exam conducted by the university.

Yes, You can get a Opportunity here if you have 86 Percentiles in PU UGLAW Entrance examination . It also depend on the College Requirements to give opportunity to the students to take admi5 in B.A LL.B ( 5 Y Integrated Course ) . BUT IT ALSO DEPENDS ON THE CURRENT YEAR CUT-OFF MARKS FOR MERIT BASED OPPORTUNITY.
