Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh Eligibility

PEC Chandigarh admissions are based on merit and entrance test scores. The accepted entrance exams are UCEED, NID Entrance Exam, NATA, JEE Main. To define the eligibility criteria, the university considers all the students equally, hence the admissions are based on entrance tests. 

For B.E./B.Tech at PEC, Pondicherry Engineering College the eligibility criteria include 10+2 in PCM (40 % for SC/ST), at least 45 % aggregate. Admission is through a valid score in JEE Main with 50 % weightage, +2 marks 30 % weightage and Normalized marks in PCM with 20 % weightage. For lateral entry, it is required to be above 45 % aggregate (diploma) along with a valid JEE Main score. 480 seats: 360 for JEE Main, 120 for lateral entry, 15% for All India quota, 25% for management quota, 5% for NRI quota; Application fee Rs 500-1,000; Reservation norms as applicable by Puducherry government.
