IIIT is always better when compared to an NIT, however, small an IIIT may be, you'll always get a better exposure in an IIIT. So, according to me, you should go to the college you've been selected. Also, the spot rounds in most cases is a waste of time and money as they do not offer a seat in most of the cases.

1. Admission to the B.Tech course is based on the JEE Main followed by JoSAA counselling.
2. Admission to the M.Tech course is based on GATE score followed by CCMT counselling.
3. For admission to the Ph.D. courses, candidates need to appear for Written Test conducted by NIT Jalandhar followed by Interview and Presentation.

Hi Sakshi, Here, they mainly focus on textile designing studies. It has an active placement cell that provides the dream job in the field of fashion designing both in India and mostly abroad. It organizes regular workshops on personality development, revenue writing and skill enhancement with regular class schedule, which prepares the students to be easily hired by their desired companies. This is only they got. So, make decision through this. Best of luck. Thanks.

As per me, YMCA is a better option because it's ranking, placement and faculty members are good.
