For admission to RV College of Engineering (RVCE), Bangalore, the eligibility criteria typically require a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the 12th board exams (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) for general category students, and 40% for reserved category students. Since you have 61%, you meet the minimum requirement. However, RVCE admissions are also based on performance in entrance exams like KCET or COMEDK. Well, it is important and recommended to write an entrance exam. However, through management quota you will be exempted from participating in the normal counselling process for obtaining a seat. So, you won't really be competing for a seat through cut offs.

As you have got 107 marks in Uni-gauge 2018 and hadn't applied for ComedK so you will not get RV College in this case as RV College of Engineering accepts ComedK score, not Uni-gauge score. Unigauge score is accepted by a few institutions only in Karnataka.
