Rani Channamma University (RCUB) itself does not enrol students directly into its own BTech programme on its main campus. Instead, BTech is offered by its affiliated Engineering colleges, with admission managed through KCET, COMED-K, and management quota channels. According to general admission norms shared for the affiliated Engineering colleges under RCUB:

  • 45? % of seats are allocated via KCET
  • 30? % through COMED-K
  • 25? % under the management/ NRI quota, sometimes shared with additional state quota, note that other sources say 20? % for management, which may vary slightly between colleges.

Rani Channamma University is a respectable choice for students from Northern Karnataka who seek a recognised, affordable, and academically solid university with solid infrastructure. It may not match the brand value or job placement scale of top-tier national institutes, but it offers a dependable environment for higher education, especially for motivated students planning to pursue further studies, public exams, or specialised internships.
