Dear Abhijeet,
Robotic engineering is a very professional branch of engineering and very few institutes offer this at Bachelors level. As Robotics is a specialization under mechanical engineering, one can opt for Mechanical engineering or allied branch in Bachelors and then opt for Robotics in Masters.

Robotics engineering is the division of engineering science and technology of robots. It includes the manufacture, functions, design and structural disposition of robots. Robotics engineering is a sub-field of mechanical engineering. Robotics engineers usually design robots and develop new applications for them to make them functional in a broad range of industries. Robots are used in industries for speeding up the manufacturing process. Hi.You need to do Master's in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence; M.Tech in Robotics, after pursuing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science Engineering.

Dear shaik,
CSE is better than Robotics career wise in India.
We are not developed that much in robotics.
No scope In India for Robotics. It would be good if you are planning to settle abroad like US/UK /Japan
CSE is much more in demand In India.

If you really want to get admission in robotics field for your post graduation course then Electronics and Communication branch will be best to you.
Actually, you will gets all the basic knowledge of Microprocessors, computer languages. You may get various ideas with studying of this stream, anytime you can consult with your teacher. Now, taking next step.
Embedded Technology also a part of robotics and ECE candidate can easily understand all the tricks, tips to understand this field. Being an ECE Engineer, i cab assure you that ECE will be best choice to take admission in Robotics Engineering for M.tech
