Hello, Robotics Engineering deals with design and application of robots, and the use of computer for their manipulation and processing. Robotics is not all about designing robots, its maintained, developing new application and conducted research is important. The students of this field of artificial intelligence computer -aided, manufacturing, robot motion planning. Developing a robot comes with goal of finding a solution to the problem. Along with the technical, know-how interest in research is essential. This field has no boundaries and continue to grow until the take over. Robotics has a huge demand in coming years.

Hi sir,
I would like to share few things have a look.
Since we know that in India hardly any one goes for robotic course, and because of this reason university/colleges are also lacking behind providing this course due to the insufficient of students. But, still some of the colleges/university are still having course in Robotics. Mostly courses include PG programme in Robotics. Here are the list of colleges, where you can do your course easily and also having affiliation:

Yes, you can definitely do diploma in robotics and automation. You can get admission for the diploma on the basis of your SSC marks.
