The normalised score is determined by factoring in each set's degree of difficulty. Since every set of questions is different from the others, each set's difficulty level varies. Normalisation takes more than one exam shift to finish. The group of candidates who attempted the simple question paper will have a higher average score than the group of candidates who attempted the tough question paper. IBPS RRB Clerk exam pattern is divided into prelims and Mains exams. The prelims exam carries 80 marks. The Mains exam carries 200 marks. There are negative markings in both prelims and Mains exams. The Interview is conducted for Officers Scale I, II, and III. Candidates for Interviews are selected based on their performance in the Mains exam. The interview is co-ordinated by nodal Regional Rural banks with the help of NABARD. The interview is conducted at the selected exam centres. The marks allotted to the interview are 100.
