The normalised score is determined by factoring in each set's degree of difficulty. Since every set of questions is different from the others, each set's difficulty level varies. Normalisation takes more than one exam shift to finish. The group of candidates who attempted the simple question paper will have a higher average score than the group of candidates who attempted the tough question paper. RRB Group D cutoff is the minimum marks required to be scored by candidates, in order to be selected for further counselling. 

The cutoff marks are released in the pdf format on the official website of RRB . Candidates can go and download the cutoff score from there.

The Interview is conducted for Officers Scale I, II, and III. Candidates for Interviews are selected based on their performance in the Mains exam.
