The eligibility criteria for Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery programme offered by SIHM Rohtak is candidate must have pass the 10+2  from a recognised board  with English as a one subject 

To be eligible for the Diploma in Housekeeping Operations at SIHM Udaipur candidates must have completed their 10+2 education from any recognised education board. The programme has a duration of 18 months and is offered at the undergraduate level. For SC/ST candidates the upper age limit to apply is 28 years.

The eligibility criteria for admission to the Craftsmanship Course in Food and Beverage Service at SIHM Tirupati is students must have passed 10th grade from a recognised Board or Institution &  for SC/ST students, the maximum age limit is 28 years.

The eligibility criteria for BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration at SIHM Tirupati is students must have completed their +2 or equivalent from a recognised board with English as one of the subjects securing a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). There is no age limit for the entrance exam. Admission is based on the rank obtained in the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam.
