BITM is a decent college. In MBA, college brand matters most. Balaji institutes of Pune are having a good brand name in the corporate world. This is beneficial. BITM is a good option.

Both have equally good scope and placements. It depends on individual's choice. MBA finance can pave career path in good opportunities existing in financial institutions in case you have good aptitude in number crunching and analytical skills. Many also pursue CA/CFA. MBA marketing suits one with great interpersonal skills and has good opportunities in several FMCG, etc. and even marketing avenues are there in financial institutions as well.

Dear Krishnendu,
It is an average college according to ROI (though it is not mentioned, the total fee includes hostel and internship costs also included or not, kindly check it) if u have higher MAT 95 ,u can chase the Tier I colleges in Pune
SIMSREE Government of MH (Low fee high ROI)
PUMBA Pune University (good to have 98 MAT)
Out of Pune:
BIMTECH, Noida (student intake is lower)
XIME (good to have CAT 75 above,MAT can apply)
IFMR
Christ University Bangalore
From Tier I colleges, you can expect a sustainable job and secured profile comparatively, feel free to write.
