Both these certifications are entirely different from each other. Now, considering your prior experience of IT sales, I would suggest you to go for SAP as it will be of great help and it will add value to your current standing in organization. Later on, after working as SAP consultant for quite some time, you can go for CRM.

SAP functional certification is ideally suitable for those, who have functional experience in field as finance, SCM, production, sales, etc. You can find SAP functional module difficult.
