SBI PO Syllabus

The difficulty level of the SBI PO prelims can vary depending on the individual's level of preparation and the specific mock test they have taken. However, it is generally considered to be a challenging exam due to its high competition and the level of knowledge and skill required to pass it. It is important to prepare well and stay focused in order to perform well on the exam. SBI PO exam pattern is such that it is divided into prelims exam, Mains exam, psyhometric test, group exercises and interview. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The Mains exam carries a total of 250 marks. The group exercises and interview carries 50 marks. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the Mains exam. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The pychometric test is also qualifying in nature. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and group exercises and interview. 

Quantitative Aptitude/Maths is an important and scoring section in SBI PO exam. This section appears in both prelims and Mains exams. So candidates must be thorough with all the basic concepts, tips, shortcuts and important formulas of this part. Questions in this section are asked from Simplification, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Surds, Indices, Time, Distance, Work, Time, Ratio, Proportion, Percentage, Data Interpretation, Number Systems, etc. In the prelims exam, a total of 35 questions are asked. The total marks allotted to this section are 35. In the mains exam, a total of 35 questions are asked. Total marks allotted to this section are 60. Candidates can score good marks in this section by solving the previous year question papers, practicing mock tests, learning the shortcut tricks of solving questions, etc.

In the Reasoning section of SBI PO candidates can cover Seating Arrangements, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, etc. To score good marks in this section, candidates should practice previous years' question papers and mock tests. Candidates can also practice sudoku and different types of puzzles. This will help me to solve the questions in Reasoning easily. Candidates can follow the tips given below to prepare the Reasoning section of SBI PO:

• Cramming does not work for the Reasoning section of SBI PO. Questions are purely logic-based. Practice SBI PO previous year's question papers as possible to improve the logic-building ability
• Candidates must start with reading and understanding concepts of the Reasoning topics. Once candidates are able to understand the basics behind each topic, divert the focus on both speed and accuracy
• Solving questions within time limit is important. Candidates must identify the best way to solve questions keeping in mind both speed and accuracy
