Yes, candidates need to score relevant marks in the UPES School of Design entrance exam, UPESDAT, to be admitted to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme at UPES. Candidates can also have a relevant score in national-level exams like JEE/CUET, NID/NIFT/UCEED/NIFT Entrance Exam, and others.
Candidates must also have at least 50% aggregate in Class 12 and 50% marks in Class 10th. The selection process for B.Des also includes a portfolio presentation and interview.

The management courses are bad, the infrastructure is not that good, and the faculty members are not well trained. The college doesn't have proper facilities like transportation and library. LISAA School of Design is generally more expensive than The Oxford College of Science. Yes, there are chances that you can get into Gurukul School of Design with 70% in class 12th provided you perform well in the other parameters of admission process as the admission at Gurukul School of Design is both merit based and entrance based.
Candidates who are currrently pursuing 12th are also eligible to apply.
Confirmed admission will only be offered on the successful submission of marksheet of 12th.
