Jindal School of Journalism and Communication does not mention an offline mode of application for the BSc (Hons) admissions. All stages of Jindal School of Journalism and Communication BSc (Hons) admission process is conducted in online mode including the entrance exams and personal interview round. Candidates will need to contact an admission manager at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication to confirm the existance of an offline mode of application for the BSc (Hons) admissions.

Jindal School of Journalism and Communication offers the Film and New Media specialisation in both BA (Hons) and BSc (Hons) course mode. BSc (Hons) at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication is only offered in the aforementioned specialisation. However, the BA (Hons) course is available in other specialisations as well.

There is no mention of Jindal School of Journalism and Communication accepting applications from candidates who are yet to receive their Class 12 board exam result.
Thus, candidates should assume that they cannot apply for BSc (Hons) admissions at JSJC until they receive the scores of the Class 12 board exams.

Candidates deciding which entrance exam to appear for to gain admissions to BA (hons) courses at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication are advised to appear for JSAT. JSAT is a good choice for BA (Hons) admissions at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication as high scores in this exams will allow candidates to apply for the MCM scholarship after admission.

No, all BA courses offered by Jindal School of Journalism and Communication are honors mode BA courses. These courses are undergraduate level courses that have a duration of four years instead of three years like a standard BA course. The specialisations of these courses are from the field of Media, Journalism and Communication.

No, the BA (Hons) admissions are not open to direct admission of candidates at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication. Every candidate is evaluated first on the basis of the set eligibility and selection criteria for the BA (Hons) course. No hostel fees has been mentioned for BA (Hons) students of Jindal School of Journalism and Communication either on its website or the brochure. However, the brochure does mention an accomodation fees which is INR 9.24 lakh.
Since no other fee type resembles the hostel fees therefore it is being assumed that the accomodation fees is the hostel fees charged by Jindal School of Journalism and Communication

The tuition fees for all BA (hons) course offered by Jindal School of Journalism and Communication is the same. In 2026, the total tuition fee for all BA (hons) courses is INR 16 lakh. Candidates are charged the tuition fee on per annum basis.

No, there is no ragging culture at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication and the Institute has an anti-ragging cell. The Institute takes action against the students involved in ragging.
