The duration of Part-time Jindal School of Journalism and Communication PhD courses is six years. This is double the duration of the full-time PhD course offered by Jindal School of Journalism and Communication which is three years.

However, part-time PhD course allows candidates to continue their employment alongside their coursework. The selection and eligibility criteria for the PhD courses remains the same for both course modes.
