DY Patil Dnyan Prasad University School of Pharmacy & Research offers admission to the M.Pharma programme on the basis of merit obtained in the last qualifying exam and valid entrance scores. In order to secure admission to DY Patil Dnyan Prasad University School of Pharmacy & Research, candidates must acquire 55% marks in graduation, and must appear for GPAT and secure valid scores.

Amrita School of Pharmacy offers PharmD course. To get into PharmD, candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics or Biology / DPharm from a recognised institute. The school selects the candidates on the basis of AEEL score which is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

The eligibility criteria for M.Pharma at Amrita School of Pharmacy include the following:

1. For M.Pharma program:
   • A pass in B.Pharm degree from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with at least 50% marks for all the subjects of B.Pharm course from the second year to the fourth year
2. Preference will be given to GPAT qualified candidates
