The college offers seven courses at the UG level in affiliation with MGM University. Dr. G.Y. Pathrikar College of CS & IT courses include BCA, Integrated MSc and BSc. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for the UG courses. Additionally, admission to all the courses of Dr. G.Y. Pathrikar College of CS & IT is based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

The Fees for B.Tech in computer Science and Engineering at Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology Gateway Education is 2.4 Lacs per year.

Qualify for the National Scholarship Test. 10% to 100% of tuition fees will be covered under the Scholarship. INR 20,000 to INR 28,000 per annum. INR 85,000 per month and INR 7 Lakhs Per annum Research grant.The scholarship amount is ?2500 per month for boys and ?3000 per month for girls. The scholarship amount is paid annually to the selected students for a period of one to five years as per the duration of the courses approved by the concerned regulatory bodies.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University accepts the scores of JEE Main, GATE, GPAT, CAT, MAT, CMAT and other national-level management exams.
