Placements at NLU Kolkata (NUJS) are excellent, with high percentage of students getting placed every year. Top law firms like Khaitan and Co., Trilegal, SAM, CAM and others recruit students from the college and the highest salary package received was INR 60 LPA in the recent batch. Almost all Tier 1 law firms participate in the day zero placements and placements continue throughout the year. Average package offered is around INR 15 Lacs and public sector undertakings also participate in placements. Some students secure pre-placement offers (PPOs) as well.

The eligibility criteria in selection of the candidates aspiring to get admission to BA/B.Sc LLB at WB National University of Juridical Sciences at Kolkata applicants must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks. SC/ST candidates must have passed with 40% marks.
