There is no such entrance examination conducted to get admission in SVIMS. The admission is totally based on merit basis. The eligibility criteria is 12th passed+50% mark for UG and 60% mark in graduation for PG. So, it's totally based on your marks that you'd get a seat in college or not. If your marks are good then definitely it's easy to get admission in SVIMS.

Taking your concern, I think you want to pursue your career in biotechnology. If so SVIMS would be a great choice. As per students review the biotechnology course in SVIMS is better than other life Science courses. In biotechnology the placement rate is quite higher than others. Beside this the faculty in biotechnology are also very good.

Talking about the life sciences courses offered by SVIMS are great to opt for. The above said two courses in UG are great to take but as per students review the B.Sc Biotechnology have a edge on the comparison to B.Sc Microbiology. There is no provision for re-evaluation/re-checking of IAT result. The official notification reads, No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The candidates can only raise objections against the provisional answer key. Based on the objections raised by the candidates the final answer key and the result is released.
