Yes, you can get admission to the IISER with 6000 rank. However, admission will depend on your category. SC/ST category students have a strong chance of admisison with the mentioned rank. General category students can get admission to the newly added IISER.

No, Queensland University of Technology does not prioritize the subject-specific marks over the overall scores.
QUT actually evaluates international applicants based on their overall academic average. Look at the key admission criteria for Indian students -
- For UG courses, QUT looks at the overall score which should be around 60% to 75%
- For PG courses like a Master of IT or Data Science, students need a minimum GPA of 4.0 on a 7.0 scale (around 60% on the Indian scale)
