Hi.

In raw marks (out of ~800):

  • Very good chance: 600–700+

  • Decent chance: 520–600

  • Borderline: below 500

BA LLB is competitive, so higher GT + English score matters a lot.

For BA (Programme) (NOT Hons)

You can apply for BA Programme in many universities.

 Required Score

  • 70–85 percentile is usually enough

  • Raw marks: 500–600+

For BA (Hons) Political Science / History (DU)

Not possible at DU, because:

  • You did not study Polity or History in Class 12

  • DU requires the same domain subject

(Some other universities may allow it, but DU does not.)

 What Matters MOST for You

Since you don't have Polity/History:

Focus on BA LLB

  • Maximize E

Hi.

Yes, PCM students can apply for BA LLB and BA (Hons) through CUET-UG, but subject choice is very important.

CUET Subjects for BA LLB (5-year integrated)

Most central universities (like DU, BHU, AMU, AU, etc.) follow this pattern:

Compulsory Subjects

  1. Language (Any ONE)

    • English (recommended)

    • or Hindi / other listed languages

  2. General Test (GT)  Very important for BA LLB

Optional / Domain Subjects

  • ANY 2 domain subjects

  • Since you are from PCM, you can choose:

    • Mathematics

    • Physics

    • Chemistry

You do NOT need Polity or History for BA LLB if you haven't studied them in Class 12.

Recommended CUET Combo for BA LLB (PCM student)

  • English

  • Gen

Chandigarh University does not explicitly reserve seperate seats exclusively for JEE Main candidates in specialised branches like Biotechnology, Food Technology, or Chemical Engineering. However, JEE qualified students recieve merit-based advantages, including priority counseling and eligibilty for schalorships. Admissions are offered based on overall merit, seat availability, and entrance route (JEE or CUCET), ensuring fairness. This approach maintains academic inclusivity while rewarding students who appear in national-level exams. Chandigarh University's transparent process balances accessibility and merit recognition, allowing JEE
