There are more colleges that accept a NEET score in comparison to those accepting CUET scores. CUET offers less competition and lower cutoff, but also a lesser option of colleges to choose from.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education deemed University offers BSc at UG level. BSc is offered in various specialisations. Some BSc specialisations are Nursing, Biotechnology, Anasthesia and Operation Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Clinical Psychology, Medical Imaging Technology and others.

Manipal University BSc admission is entrance-based. Students must pass Class 12 with 50% - 55% aggregate from a recognised board. Candidates willing to get admission to BSc must qualify for MET, which is an entrance exam conducted by Manipal University for admission to most of its UG courses.

Heidelberg University, Germany is a better opt to go for MS courses due to its higher ranking, at #3 for MS Courses, it is ranked #8 for the University of Bonn. Heidelberg University is also more affordable with tuition fee of INR 0 – 6.58 L than University of Bonn with INR 0 – 10.64, but the acceptance rate of the University of Bonn are a little better at 36% than only 16% for Heidelberg University.

BTech placements at JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA are quite decent. According to NIRF report 2026, 570 BTech students secured jobs out of 675 graduates of batch 2025 with a median package of INR 6 LPA. the highest salary secured by batch 2024 was INR 47 LPA.

Yes, there are some courses at Heidelberg University that does not require any tuition fee but it is not totally free to study MS Courses at University of Heidelberg, there is hostel fee, insurance and also transportation charges. The tuition fee of MS Courses at Heidelberg University are INR 0 – 6.58 L. Also, there are application charges of EUR 75 that is roughly INR 8.06 K.
