Patil University BTech admissions require candidates to have Physics, Chemistry, English and either one of Mathematics or Biology as mandatory subjects during Class 12. Some BTech courses such as BTech in Biotechnology require candidates have Biology in Class 12 while others require candidates have Mathematics as a mandatory subject.

The School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University accepts the scores of any national or state level BTech entrance exam for admissions. This can include the JEE Mains, MHT CET, CUET-UG, etc. 

Candidates who fail to appear for any of these exams can still apply to appear in the in-house entrace exam of School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics - D.Y. Patil University.

CG PAT 2026 counselling will primarily done in online basis but the spot rounds will involve physical reporting at the centres. Students are advised to carefully attend the CG PAT seat allotment 2026 as it will determine your admission in BSc agriculture & horticulture programs in Chattisgarh colleges based on your rank and choices.
