The UPCATET Cutoff marks are based on the following factors:
- The overall difficulty of the exam.
- Number of students appear for the UPCATET Exam.
- Total number of seats for UG and PG courses.
- Since the paper is marked out of 800 marks, cut‑offs typically reflect relative performance.
- After the result, UPCATET cut‑off is released for all categories.
- Students need to fulfil the minimum scoring criteria to get admission to their preferred courses.

UPCATET syllabus consists of Class 11 and 12 topics of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Agriculture, and Home Science.
The UPCATET Syllabus is also based on the paper group selected by the students, like PCB/PCM/PAG/PHS. The NCERT is suggested for all Science subjects.

The IISER entrance exam was conducted on June 7, 2026. The exam was conducted as a computer-based test for three hours. Students who wished to appear for the exam had to apply online.

No, there is no provision for conducting the exam twice a year. Every year IISER Aptitude Test is conducted once a year. The exam is held as computer based test. The test duration is three hours.

Yes, the IAT result was declared on June 29. The download link for the result is available on the website iiseradmission.in. The auhtority had conducted the IISER exam on June 7, 2026.

A good rank in the IISER exam is between 1 and 5000. This will help to get admission to the top IISER institutes. A rank between 6000 and 9000 is considered safe for admission.

After the announcement of the IISER result counselling process will begin. Students who secured a rank can participate in the IISER counselling 2026 for admission to the participating institutes. The counselling process comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted institutes.
