While we do not require a specific undergraduate coursework, it is important that applicants have strong quantitative and analytical skills; a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is not required.

Minimum GPA requirement.

In order to receive your MS CS degree, your GPA in the courses you submit on your programme sheet must be at least 3.0, which corresponds to a B in Stanford's grading scale. Note that you need not get a B in every course.

The Stanford University acceptance rate for master's programs is 4%.

Admission process

Admissions for 2024 are open for all courses. Candidates must meet the eligibility and selection criteria for their chosen programs.

In general, to be eligible for a BSc in Computer Science, candidates need to score between 50% and 60% in Class 12 higher secondary coursework from an accredited board. The Science stream should include Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (PCM).

Admission
Hostel admission is on merit in the university's entrance exam for the course of study. The Principal, Dean, Director, or Head of the Department concerned will make the hostel allotment.
Allotment
Students have to take possession of their allotted room within a week of the allotment. If they don't, the allotment may be canceled.
Fees
The cost of accommodation in a hostel would be different with different types of hostels:
Basic: Rs. 3,000–Rs. 5,000
Standard: Rs. 5,000–Rs. 8,000
Premium: Rs. 8,000–Rs. 12,000
Rooms for rent
If the students cannot get hostel room he/she can send a room for rent close to the main gate, Hyderabad gate, Chituupur gate, or Seat Govardhan gate.
