Department of Library and Information Science, SVU Mumbai, offers two Certificate courses in the online mode. The application process for these courses is also conducted online. It includes submitting a duly filled the pre-admission form through the common admission portal on the official SVU website. Moreover, they must submit an application fee of INR 250. It can be paid through the online payment gateway available on the website. The application fee is non-refundable. It must be noted that the mentioned application fee is sourced from the official website. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

The Department of Library and Information Science Certificate application process can be completed online. Candidates willing to pursue one of the Certificate courses offered by DLIS must check if they are eligible as per the eligibility criteria set by the department. Eligible candidates can follow the steps given below to complete the application process:
- Visit the official admission portal of Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU).

The Department of Library and Information Science (DLIS) offers two Certificate courses: (i) Certificate Course in Library and Information Science (CCLIS) and (ii) Certificate in Teacher Librarianship (CTL). The application process for CTL for the current academic year will start on June 1, 2025 and continue till June 30, 2025 (tentative). The application window for admission to the CCLIS course is expected to open in November and remain open till December.
