To apply for the course, the candidate should have cleared class 10, class 12 / higher secondary Examination with English as one of the subjects. Minimum percentage of marks in class 12 / higher secondary Examination varies from institution to institution but is generally between 50% or 60%.
Students who have appeared in H.S.C. examination and are awaiting results are eligible too.
There are no entrance exams in general but to get a seat at the top ranking colleges you need to clear some entrance exams.

Research in increasing productivity, use of organic methods of farming, these and many more topics are currently on top. It is nice to know that you are not interested in engineering or medical but want to pursue different path. It's the best option. There are literally hundreds of courses. But you should ignore these. Just follow your heart or passion and select course as per this.
