One very important point. Before joing and course in animation and VFX related domain in India , which is university approved , please be very much careful and check the records of previous students record, ask them if their exams are happening in time , if results are published in time ! If certification is on time ! If exam schedule is shared on time . I have seen 90% of the students suffering in the above said issues after taking a university certified graduation and other certification programme . If yes , then I just one to say that , if you are more interested to work as a salaried person , join a company after the course then better to build a career in animation and VFX , if you are more interested to make your own movie in near future or work on project basis then live action & VFX film making is good. if you consider placements and salary, you will find that information Science dominates, it has plenty of jobs available in private sector. but, if you consider government sector, mechanical engineering dominates. also, mechanical engineering is an ever green branch, since it doesn't get affected by problems like recession. However, I will suggest you to choose your interest. all the best! !!

Hi Yash,
Usually migration is permitted on a case to case basis within the university itself in the second year. However, migration across institutes after the second year will not be permitted. However, do check with your current college on the guidelines.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.
