Dear Dhananjay Sharma,
As my views you can not switch in PCM. If you wanna study for Technical education go for Diploma in Engineering. Its equal to 10+2. After complete it you may appear in B.E. 2nd year. I know its take two year more but after Diploma you may apply for Job.
Best of Luck.

Anything and everything needs a high level of hardwork and concentration to excel in. Dont be in a misconception that one stream u have to study hard other u can just pass. Its on you how u want to spend or see yourself in your life as a elite or a mediocre. Study accordingly whichever may be your stream. all the best.

55 percent marks in your intermediate shows that you are not in love with science. You should not go for B.Tech but if your JEE Mains score was very good, then you should get admission in any of the good colleges during counselling. If you don't want to do engineering, you can opt for commerce and pursue B.Com or BBA. You can do BA if interested in arts and then choose the same in post graduation. The decision is yours. All the best.

I think applied physics will be more preferable because you will get plenty of opportunities after the completion of a degree which can help you choose the appropriate career. It is very difficult with theoretical physics. Take care and have a great time. All the best.
