The scope for sports writing is big in India however it has to be seen in the light of changing news and entertainment contexts. Gone are the days of traditional reporting of events only for print medium. Sports journalism as of today involves a lot more than mere sports news coverage. It involves understanding of sports culture, management, and visual production capabilities.

And, now your question is for print and TV journalism or acting and anchoring, then you already know in all over India, there are more than 1 Lacs publications of all language, period based in the era of increasing number of news channels. But, still this print media industry is going smooth as usual. It shows that there are a number of opportunities in print journalism as well as TV Journalism.
