Department of Media Studies, Christ University, Bengaluru
Headed by Prof John J Kennedy and coordinated by Fr Biju, the Department of Media Studies at Christ University offers media courses which offer hands-on experience and a judicious blend of theory and practice. This media institute is a part of Christ University, formerly known as Christ College which was affiliated to Bangalore University. The Christ University was established in July 1969. Christ University was also the first institution in Karnataka to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) UGC for quality education.
