NMAT exam is pretty easy when compared to others exam. One can directly give the exam with some extent of preparation. There is one thing, even if your merit is low, then you will be given an upgradation form. You must have prepared for class 12th and other competitive. So, FMS is pretty good. So, if you aren't getting any of the top three IIMs, you can consider this college. The infrastructure and facilities are pretty good. The average package is around 20 LPA which is at par with the IIMs.
So, it is a pretty good college.

Here are some points on how to avoid being trapped:
Remember, the options in GMAT are designed to trap you. They are very similar and if you miss one small point in the question, you will end up with an incorrect option which you will feel is correct. So, it's always good to recheck your answer by re-reading your question. Make sure you are not missing/ignoring an important point.
Solve lots of questions and learn about the type/pattern of questions being asked. The more you solve, the more question patterns you'll learn about. While practising, if you get a question wrong, always learn how to solve it correctly. Ensure that you don't make the same mistakes again. Also, remember to keep your eyes open and be alert.
Learn to identify Pythagorean triplets, right angled triangles and ratio of sides (trigonometric ratios), etc. I can't stress more on the importance of remembering the formulas, tables, squared and cubes of numbers.

Planning is very important to crack XAT in 6 months. So, my suggestions are:
XAT is easy as compared to CAT. I was also a student who prepared for XAT immediately after my graduation. The important things which you should look into while preparing for this exam are as follows:
1. Select one of the best coaching centres which offer quality education. TIME is one of the famous coaching centres for XAT and MAT.
2. Dedication-Be focused on the aim which you need to achieve.
3. Try to read Hindu newspaper editorial. Most of the passages which appear in XAT are from Hindu editorial.
4. Try to do a maximum number of online mock tests. You will definitely clear XAT by doing the above.
5. Try to read as much as you can and make note of points.
6. Revision of each topic every week is very important.
7. Mathematical ability questions will be little-twisted, try to solve them as fast as you can.
These are the tips for you to crack both XAT and CAT.

We have faculties who have written books on accounts and are experts in the field of HR (human resource) and have years of experience in the corporate world. We also motivate students in every possible way and teach us with the help of examples. If any student wants excellent faculty then JIMS is the institute for them. Our college placement is also very good and almost every student gets placed from this college and the students who do not get placed are the one who wants to join their family business or do not want placement or start their own business. Our college canteen is also good as we get hygienic food at reasonable rates. Our college library is also good as we have thousands of book in our library. Sports facilities are average as the college have a small park in which student play volleyball and participated in many tournaments and secured 3rd position in lovely professional university's sports meet and secured 3rd position in BITS Pilani, Goa campus's sports meet and 2nd position in MDI Gurgaon's sports meet in volleyball. Our college also provides good industry exposure as they took students for many industrial trips like Maruti Suzuki, Mother Dairy, etc. Overall, I am fully satisfied with my college and suggest other students to take admission in this college.

No hostels are available in the college. PG options are available nearby the college, the cost of PG is about INR 10000 to 12000 per month. Food quality is good inside and outside the college. Quality of classrooms is also good.
Academics & Faculty :
9:00 am to 6:00 pm was the class timing. Method and quality of teaching are good and placements are also good. Overall experience in college is good and the environment of college is also good.
Fees and Scholarship :
My course fee was INR 2.5 lakhs per annum. No scholarship options were available for students as it is a private college. Loans are needed for some students.
Placements & Internships :
Deloitte, Capital IQ, and much more companies hire students from our campus. INR 4.5 lakhs is the average package for JIMS, 95% students get placed every year.
