Talking about career and job prospects in India after B.Com (Hons), it isn't having much of opportunities as there is so much of competition out there. So yes, it can be said that B.Com (Hons) is not enough for good career building. The exception is that you studied from SRCC or Hansraj that can get you placed with a package of 10 LPA or so.
Hence, it is advisable to go for post graduation or some professional qualification in order to build a career.
Talking about the job prospects abroad, it carries hardly any opportunities out there.
See, I agree that skills do matter but in order to show skills, it is essential to get a job or get an interview call which isn't easy with B.Com (Hons) degree nowadays as there are so many others with BBA and Master's degrees. And yes, companies prefer management graduates over normal graduates.

Apart from these four, there are big daddies as well;
IIM Indore, IPM
It's a 5-year integrated program in management. It's a completely different course for a career. You freeze your next 5 years and don't get a PGDM which an IIM provides after taking admission into one via CAT.
Be ready for a fiercely competitive test for IPM an equally grilling interview, I can say this from my personal experience.
Also, I would suggest not to look any further apart from these 5 programs as all other programs offering a BBA equivalent are essentially on the same page. Don't expect any decent placements apart from these 5 colleges, I, maybe, wrong about this, but it's purely my opinion.

IIM, Indore is one of the best campuses in India for MBA education. They offer 100% placement opportunity for students. The average salary is Rs 12 lakhs per annum and highest go beyond Rs 21 lakhs per annum in domestic. In international placement highest is Rs 45 lakhs so far in the campus.
This campus holds direct tie-up for placement with some well known and famous multinational companies like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, EMC2, THOMSON and Reuters, Walmart, Cisco, Bosch, Wipro, E&Y etc. This help student gets placed in international and national jobs. A large alumni network helps the current students in getting a job with excellent placement package.
So I hope the placement opportunities are very vast for students who study in this campus.

Well, CV doesn't have points, it always carries weight. How strong your CV is and how capable you are. The most important thing which will be considered during your placements is your CGPA. Companies will shortlist mostly on the basis of CGPA. There have been times when the list of shortlisted candidates for some of the best firms consisted top 10-20 rank holders of the college (literally). So, no matter what anyone says, CGPA shouldn't be neglected. Especially for high demand jobs like investment banking, CGPA is a deciding factor.
After CGPA, they will check for relevant internships. So, make sure that you do at least one or two internships in relevant fields in good companies so that you don't look like a novice. Then they see the past academic records and awards and honours including scholarships and fellowships.
So, the order of importance would be:
1. CGPA
2. Relevant internships in reputed companies
3. Awards and Honors
Don't think that extra-curricular activities matter a lot. It is good to have some to show that you are an interesting person. It may have a bit importance in marketing but not at all in finance. Having important position of responsibilities like the president of the student council or something may be helpful.
But don't neglect academics for that.

If you are looking for 100% placements in B-School then you have to get good percentile and then you can only choose a top B-School.The B-school who is having 100% or good campus placements is SP Jain Global College. This year, a student of MBA Marketing had got the offer of 48 LPA from an MNC. Actually, if you are looking for 100% placements in a B-School then you will rarely get any. Actually, it depends on the individual so top B-School will not give you 100% placements as they can provide up to 95% placements in the reputed companies. And I would say that as you are looking for a good B-School, you should join SP Jain Global College, Mumbai. There you can get a good job in reputed MNC and SP Jain is known for its good placements as they provide good education linkage with various companies. They also have various campuses outside of India. And if you are looking for other college options then Symbiosis-Pune will also be a good option for good placements. But I would advise you that don't try to run after placements rather try to develop yourself and try to be updated with various new skills then only you can be placed in a top MNC. As SP Jain is consistent in providing 100% placements for years, so you can go to this college.

In India, Ph.Ds operate in a three-tiered system, commencing with an undergraduate Bachelor's degree, followed by postgraduate Master's and Ph.D degrees. In some cases, candidates can do Ph.D without doing post graduation too, but they will usually be required to complete a larger coursework component when enrolling for a PhD. So, you can choose what you want to do.
Good news for CSs: There are some universities in India which have recognised the Company Secretaryship qualification as equivalent to postgraduate degree for pursuing Ph.D. Sardar Patel Universit-Gujarat, South Gujarat University-Surat, Maharishi Dayanand University-Haryana, Guru Nanak Dev University-Punjab, Punjab University-Chandigarh, Nagpur University-Maharashtra, etc., are a few names of who have recognized CS course as PG so you can go there to do Ph.D.
If I talk about benefits then you can get yourself an opportunity to go into academics and research part abroad. Even in India, if you get a good opportunity, you can enter into academics as it is also a highly rewarding career. As far as any other job is concerned, the only thing is you get the highest respect of being a Ph.D. As the financial rewards grow only with your experience.

The Ph.D. or the Doctorate degrees offered for the BBA and MBA students are largely in Management Sciences.
