60% is the minimum percent to get admission in B.Tech programs of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) because that is the general educational eligibility for B.Tech courses at SMVDU. The 60% must be secured in Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, depending on the course chosen. Your admission will depend on the JEE Main score and the cutoff ranks in the branch that you want.
So, to reiterate, assuming your Class 12th percentage figure meets the eligibility, the next important component remains the JEE Main score, as admission into SMVDU for B.Tech courses has an inclination towards the JEE ranking. Look int

A 75 percentile in JEE probably gives you a little hope for getting into B.Tech at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), but it also depends on what branch you apply for. SMVDU considers students based on the ranks of JEE Main. So generally, these branches like Computer Science and Engineering are having much higher cutoffs. In most cases, a score at the percentile allows those who fall under the mid-range of candidates by a better chance for less competitive branches or if the seats are vacant after the first rounds of counseling.
Best of luck to check the latest cutoff trend at the official site of SMVDU or from JoSAA (Joint Seat

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) can certainly be counted among the best universities in Jammu for engineering, technology, and management studies. It is recognised for its modern infrastructure, a strong academic curriculum, and a terrific placement record. Indeed, it stands among the top universities in Jammu and Kashmir.
However, there are also competitive universities such as the University of Jammu and Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University. While SMVDU has an upper edge in technical files with better facilities and industry connections, the same cannot be said for the University of Jammu, which is older and offers a wider ra

However, there is no difference between the fee structures of both SMVDU and Tezpur University, except for B.Tech and MBA courses, where SMVDU fees tend to be costlier than Tezpur University. Annual fees for the B.Tech course in SMVDU are found in the range of ?1.6 Lacs to ?2 lakhs, with some ?2 Lacs for MBA. In comparison, Tezpur University charges a much nominal amount of approximately ?1 Lacs annually for the B.Tech program, but this figure may increase owing to other miscellaneous fees, for instance, hostel and mess.
While both may stand pretty high with respect to the academic offering, SMVDU may prove costlier chiefly in terms of

Dissimilar placement opportunities exist in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) and Tezpur University, although both institutions have prestigious companies knocking at their doors. However, they continue to have different placement success in their different departments.

The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) stands the ground generally superior to that of SLIET (Shri Lalit Narayan Institute of Engineering and Technology) in terms of academic value, infrastructural affairs, and placement opportunities.
Reputation and Ranking: SMVDU ranks ahead compared to Indian universities; it's well-conceived in the engineering and technology field. It is under the state government, has collaboration with several national and international academic institutions, and adjoins SLIET and the better place for study purposes because even though SLIET is centrally funded, it does not have the same sort of recognition
