The alumni of Sir C.R. Reddy College of Engineering are working well in various sectors-tech and engineering. Several students have managed to bag jobs in the top companies, including TCS, Wipro Infosys, and Cognizant. The placement record is pretty strong in the college. Almost more than 75% of the students were placed in the last few years. Alumni have bagged jobs as software engineers, UI/UX designers, and web developers. Packages start from INR 3 LPA to INR 23 LPA. A strong placement cell within the college, with an extensive network of connections with industrial houses, greatly helps graduates launch successful careers.

Admission to Sir C.R. Reddy College of Engineering is given based on a candidate's performance in the entrance exam, that is, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. Minimum eligibility criteria for a candidate who intends to seek admission to the B.E./B.Tech programme in the institution would include finishing 10+2 education with a minimum aggregate percentage of marks in PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, and mathematics 45%. The counselling process under which the candidates could select their desired courses and colleges by their respective ranks is also considered. Even for management quota seats, the college uses merit.

Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering has produced successful alumni, particularly in fields like:

 

1. IT & Software: Most of them are employed with leading organizations such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and so on.

2. Entrepreneurship: Some have gone further and opened their own companies.

3. Higher Education: Pass outs find themselves enrolled in IITs or other universities across the world.
