No. It's not mandatory. You can stay outside. SSIM is providing free bus facility. If you need hostels outside near the college, it is available.

Yes, of course, it is interesting to learn new things and information from college mates and faculty. I don't have a habit of reading news but after coming to this college started reading news. Now, I am habituated to it. Thanks to SSIM. We have experimental learning, college fests, presentations, etc. You will feel attached to the SSIM.

Hi Prakash,
SSIM and Vignana Jyothi are equal but there is a change in the fee structure. This year, the SSIM fee structure is 5.5 lakhs without hostel, with hostel 7.25 to 7.5 lakhs. Coming to placement in SSIM, it has good placements. if you check last year record, companies were: DELOITTE, TATA CAPITAL, ICICI PRUDENTIAL & BANK, CITY UNION BANK, THICK SHAKE, TIMES PVT LTD, IIFL, etc.

In terms of placements, SSIM is the best as the average packages are quite good. Finance placements are very difficult to get from these aspects. SSIM is the best one in getting these placements.

In SSIM the highest salary package offered is 5.5 lacs to 6.5 lacs by Deloitte. The average package ranges from 3.7 to 4.1 lacs. These are the packages given by other companies.

Yes, it is a good place. You will learn a lot of stuff from the faculty and also they have practical knowledge. Moving to placements, it's good but I won't give 100% placement guarantee because placement department is fresh. Companies like Deloitte, ICICI Bank, IDBI, HDFC, City Union, Tata Capital and many more visits every year. This year nearly 1900 students got placed.
