For the past 2-3 years, the syllabus of SLAT has been the same. However, there is a guarantee that the SET exam authority will not make any changes to the SLAT syllabus in the future. The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Authority, the conducting body of the SLAT exam, does not provide a detailed syllabus for it. However, it provides the details of the sections from which questions are asked in the entrance exam. These sections are Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General English and General Knowledge. From each sections 12 questions are asked in the exam. Each question carries one mark and does not have any penalties for a wrong answer. Thus, the total marks for the SLAT exam are 60, which are scaled down to 50.

The SLAT has not been released by anyone. However, the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) Authority provides details on the sections from which questions are asked in the SLAT exam. SET is the conducting body of the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) entrance exam. The sections ascertained by the authority from which questions are asked in the exam are Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, and General English. Thus, it can be stated that the SET Authority does not release a detailed syllabus for SLAT, but it provides an overview of the syllabus.
