M.Tech:
This is the course that most students pursue once they complete their engineering. This course has many takers because of the job opportunities that it has to offer. If you really want that edge over B Tech grads or you have set your eyes on becoming a lecturer, this course is highly recommended. Different colleges use different names for the exact same course. You can opt for B.Tech / BE in software engineering, information technology, information science or computer science engineering. Computer science engineering involves hardware related subjects as well besides software. If you pursue BE / B.Tech, it is a 4 years course. If you go for integrated courses like (BE / B.Tech + MBA / M.Tech), it will be a 5 years course wherein you will be awarded with a Bachelors degree as well as a Masters degree.

You can go for B.Tech in CSE. After that, you can go for PG specialization in software.
