Yes, it is right to pursue a CS branch in any IIIT rather than a core branch in DTU/NSUT/NIT until and unless you are interested in any of the core branches as I am more interested in Industrial engineering so I've chosen it over any other branch.

Both the colleges are equally good. However only BBA would not do, you have to peruse MBA after that then only you will have a great career ahead. All the best.
