The introduction for an SOP for Logistics and Supply Chain Management should demonstrate your passion/ interest in this field. You may share an anecdote in this regard or may choose to state how pursuing this programme will help you attain your future goals. The introduction should be catchy and authentic.

Undergraduate SOPs need not mention about your scores in examinations, as your academic transcripts will also be added in your UG application documents. However, if you have achieved very good scores or want the Ad Com to know about your academic growth or expertise on a particular subject, you may add the scores. Certain universities may also want to mention your scores to gauge your language proficiency, which you can include in the SOP.

No, it is not a good idea to use same generic SOP for all the universities you are applying to. It is important to customize the SOP as per the university. You must check any specific SOP guidelines provided by the university. These guidelines may include particular question, instructions or even SOP word limit. Incase, no guidelines are provided by the university, you must prepare the SOP as per the university course and requirements. An SOP, which includes
specific details about the university resources, facilities, and impressive features, and how they align with your goals, is certainly more impressive than a generic SOP. You

An SOP for undergraduate courses must include an introduction that shows your motivation and inspiration behind pursuing your intended course in brief. It must contain any relevant courses or certificates that you have earned. An SOP for UG courses must highlight your leadership qualities, teamwork, and other skills that are relevant to the programme you have applied for. Low SAT or ACT scores (if compulsorily required by a university) might not get compensated by a statement of purpose. However, if you write a compelling SOP of undergraduate courses, your drive, motivation, and accomplishments will be highlighted and you will greatly improve your chances of getting selected in your desired UG score. Extracurricular activities and admissions essays will help you offset a low SAT/ACT score. You must concentrate on developing a complete application that adheres to the precise requirements and instructions given by the university.

To guarantee that your Statement of Purpose (SOP) accurately represents your individuality, provide real-life examples and perspectives that have influenced your educational and career path. Make your SOP specific to each program, emphasizing elements that support their core principles. Rewrite your SOP to make it more coherent and clearer. Highlight specific accomplishments and objectives; using this method will assist you in developing an engaging and unique Statement of Purpose for US colleges.

Only your LORs need to be attested by your college or company. An SOP need not be attested/ self-attested until and unless specified by the university. If you take a LOR from your Professor/ Principal/ Dean, then it needs to be signed by the recommender along with the college/ school stamp and letterhead. Similarly, professional LORs need to be signed by their respective recommenders on the company's letterhead and company stamps.

In a statement of purpose, avoid a weak and vague introduction and conclusion. It is also advised to not write the SOP at the last moment. Apart from these points, be careful about the word limit. Do not use informal language, slang, and short forms in your SOP. Also, do not sound too flattering in your SOP. It is important to appear confident in the SOP; however, you should not sound arrogant. You should sound polite, humble, and focused. Your SOP should be free from plagiarism. Moreover, the flow of the events in your SOP should be seamless and smooth. There must be a logic behind everything that you have written in your SOP.

Ending of an SOP should summarize the important points discussed in your essay. You can also restate the points briefly in the conclusion and highlight your reason or motivation one more time. At last, you can sum up the arguments as to why you are the best candidate for the course. While writing the conclusion of your SOP, you should think from the perspective of Ad Com. If you were a member of Ad Com, what would convince you to select a candidate? Make sure to mention those points that can convince the Ad Com to select you for the course.
