Hello, The UGC NET Exam is conducted in 81 subjects by the National Testing Agency. Out of these 81 subjects, there is a subject "education" in the UGC NET subjects list. So, if you want to appear in the UGC NET Exam then you are suggested to apply for the UGC NET Education subject. Here you can check the pattern of exam -
There will be two papers in exam I. e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. The exam will be held of total 3 hours OF 300 marks. There will be no negative marking. So, this was the pattern of the UGC NET Exam. The exam is conducted twice a year by NTA (June and December). You can apply for any of these two sessions to appear in exam. Hope it helps!

Special Education or Bachelor of Education in Special Education is an undergraduate Education course. 5pecial Education defines the education of students with special needs ina way that addresses the students individual differences and needs. More clearly B.Ed. Special Education course is meant for preparing teachers for teaching special needs children, such as, children with Hearing Impairment/Mental Retardation/Visual Impairment who are studying in Special Schools or in the General Schools under integrating setting. The duration of the course Is two years and it may be provided by some certain institutes on part time basis as well. So If the Department is Looking for B.Ed with regular subject then your B.Ed won't be eligible. But If the Department looking for B.Ed (without the subject mentioned) - then you are eligible.
