About Scholarship – SAIMS provide scholarships to students on a merit basis and also on a need basis but not full scholarships. Scholarship categories: A – Merit (10-20% tuition waiver) B – Government scholarships SC/ST/OBC, C – Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Eligibility: GPA, NEET rank result, family income. Scholarship amounts: UG courses INR 50,000 to 1 Lacs per year, PG courses INR 1 to 2 Lacs per annum Scholarship @ 20%. Average scholarship value: INR 75,000/year. Total scholarship outlay: INR 1.5 crores per year The student population is largely economically fragile, and 90 per cent of students require scholarships, loans, and fee exemptions.

SAIMS stands for Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences which provides modern campus facilities. Infrastructure: It has five acres of lush green lawns, a 42-acre land base with a 750-bed hospital, twelve operation theatres and 24-hour emergency services. Academic facilities: 4 lecture theatres, more than 40 departments, more than 10 labs, library (over 30000 books and 200 periodicals). Student amenities: These have ratings of 4 hostels (over 1200 beds) including 1 girls' hostel, 2 boy's hostels; 1 messing; 1 cafeteria; a sports complex featuring facilities such as cricket, football, basketball; gym; 1 auditorium with a seating capacity of over 1000+. For admission to Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS) UG/PG courses, eligibility criteria are: UG (MBBS): Passed in 10+2 examination with 50 percentage marks (45 per cent for SC/ST applicants), pass in NEET-UG, 17-25 years of age. PG (MD/MS): MBBS degree, NEET-PG score, completed one-year internship. Admission process: Visit the MCC website, take counselling, and select SAIMS. Seat allocation: 85 per cent state regulation and 15 per cent managerial regulation. Fees: MBBS (tuition fees INR 12.5 Lacs per annum), PG (fees INR 6- INR 18 Lacs per annum). Documents required: Marks Card of 10+2 examination, NEET score card, MBBS degree for PG, Internship completion certificate, Photo Identity Proof, Caste certificate (If applicable). 

Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences is one of the private medical colleges in the Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. It was set up in the year 2003 and is part of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya University. SAIMS offers undergraduate (MBBS: Undergraduate at banner 200 (150 seats) and postgraduate (MD/MS: 67 seats) courses mainly in the fields of medical science.
