Jee Mains 2024 cutoff rank for SRM University in IT branch is expected to be somewhere around 15000 to 2000.
You would definitely get a seat in IT branch if your rank is around 1500.

Candidates need to complete Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology to apply for any of the BTech specialisations. Yes, SRM conducts SRMJEEE for admission to BTech course. SRMJEEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam based on Class 12 syllabus. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is conducted thrice a year. SRM IST Trichy (Deemed-To-Be-University) admission is both merit and entrance-based. SRM IST shortlists candidates based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For BTech, the university conducts SRMJEE. SRM also accepts national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ SAT for admission to BTech courses.
