SRMJEEE is a national-level entrance exam for BTech courses at SRMIST campuses. It covers Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude, and English based on the 10+2 syllabus. The exam is conducted remotely, allowing candidates to take it from home.

SRMJEEE serves as the common entrance test for all SRM Group institutes across Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli), Delhi NCR (Ghaziabad, UP), SRM University - Sonepat (Haryana), and SRM University, AP (Andhra Pradesh). Admission decisions are made solely on SRMJEEE ranks and seat availability, with candidates choosing courses during counselling.

Candidates can check below the eligibility for SRMJEEE 2025:

Nationality: Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.

• Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI cards issued by the Government of India who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under the International student category only.

Age: Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st of July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.

Qualifying Examination For all BTech Courses:

• • Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics.
  • Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.

Direct Admission to SRMIST

To encourage and support students of exemplary talent, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) offers direct admission (exemption from SRMJEEE) and scholarships to first-rank students of all the central and state boards in India, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sports persons at National and International level.

SRMIST releases the SRMJEEE application form online on the official website. Candidates can apply using the steps below:

2. Verify the email ID
3. Fill out the online application form
4. Upload the required documents
5. Pay the application fee

The candidates have to upload the following scanned images:

• Photograph Image: Size should be 200 X 230 pixels, 5 MB
• Signature Image: Size should be 140 X 60 pixels, 5 MB

After the successful submission of the application form, an application number will be generated. Save that number for future reference and communications. Course/Campus preference selected at the time of application is only for statistical purposes, the actual course preference can be selected at the time of counselling based on SRMJEEE – All India Rank and availability of seats.

SRMIST releases the syllabus of SRMJEEE based on which questions are asked in the exam. The syllabus of SRMJEEE contains 10+2 level topics from Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English. Through the syllabus of SRMJEEE, candidates can get an idea of the topics, subtopics, chapters, and units to be covered while preparing for the SRMJEEE exam. All the questions in the exam are of Multiple Choice Types and have four answers, of which one is correct.

Candidates can take a look at the SRMJEEE exam pattern below:

• The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th. 
• All the questions are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
• Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question.
• 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and no negative marking for the wrong answer.
• The total duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 mins.

SRMJEEE 2025 number of questions and distribution of marks:

SRM University releases the SRMJEEE mock test for each phase of the exam. The mock test window opens a few days before the actual exam day. Using the SRMJEEE mock test candidates can practice for the remote proctored exam. To ensure that the candidates get familiar with the setup for taking online exams at home and to get comfortable with the exam interface, mock exams are facilitated before each phase. To avoid last-minute disturbances/ clarifications, it is suggested that the candidates take the mock exams as scheduled and be prepared for the final examination.

SRMJEEE is held as a remote proctored test. The exam question papers are not made available to the candidates in physical format. However, candidates can access the SRMJEEE sample papers that are released with the information brochure for the candidates to prepare for the exam. SRMJEEE 2025 Admission Process

• Step 1: Register for SRMJEEE 2025: To begin with, aspirants need to register for the SRMJEEE exam if they are eligible.

• Step 2: SRMJEEE 2025 Slot booking: Applicants have to do the slot booking to appear in the entrance exam. Admit cards can be downloaded after booking the slot.

• Step 3: Download SRMJEEE 2025 Admit Card: SRMJEEE admit cards can be downloaded from the official website. To download the same, aspirants will need their application number and date of birth.

• Step 4: Appear for the SRMJEEE entrance exam 2025: SRMJEEE is conducted in online mode. Aspirants are advised to follow all the instructions for the remote proctored test.
• Step 5: Check SRMJEEE 2025 exam result: SRMJEEE result will be declared on the official website. The result will have a candidate's AIR based on which seats will be allotted to the candidates in the counselling process.

• Step 6: Appear for SRMJEEE 2025 Counselling: Aspirants who clear the exam need to appear for SRMJEEE counselling. The counselling is held online.

The SRM University scholarship policy considers SRMJEEE ranks, JEE Main ranks, and board exam performances to determine eligibility for scholarships, which can cover up to 100% of tuition fees, application fees, and registration fees. Scholarships like the Founder’s Scholarship and SRM Merit Scholarship are awarded based on performance in the SRMJEEE and other criteria. Scholarships are available to SRMJEEE rank holders up to rank 30,000.

Candidates are allowed to book their preferred exam date and time for the remote proctored test. Candidates can access the Admission Portal button under their respective SRMJEEE logins, to book the slots of their convenience, subject to the availability of slots on a particular date. After booking of SRMJEEE slot, candidates can download the hall ticket that is generated after the completion of the slot booking process.

SRMJEEE 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

• Candidates have to login to the exam using details provided in the admit card (Password).
• The main examination will be of 120 minutes.
• The candidates are expected to login at least 60 minutes before the exam to take a photograph of themselves and ID proof and to read the instructions.
• Candidates will not be allowed to end the exam whether the candidate completes the exam or quits the exam for the first 120 minutes from the scheduled start of the exam.
• Only one question appears on the screen and either the candidate should answer the question or skip the same if he/she does not know the answer or does not want to answer. Once moved to the next question, the candidate cannot come back to the answered/skipped questions.
• On completion of the exam, candidates are required to follow the instructions provided to close the exam.
• The ‘I want to submit the exam’ button appears only after 90 minutes have elapsed.
• The quit password needs to be entered to EXIT THE EXAM (WHICH IS MANDATORY), which will be available in the Instruction Manual for taking the exam.
• The exam also closes automatically once the scheduled exam time elapses.

Do’s and Don’ts:

Candidates must follow some instructions for the remote proctored exam:

• Do not move from your seats, during the exam. You cannot take bio breaks during the duration of the exam.
• You should sit facing the screen throughout the exam and should not look sideways or down.
• You are not allowed to keep mobile phones, digital watches, or any other electronic devices with you during the exam.
• You are not permitted to wear sunglasses/headphones.
• You should take the exam, seated in a room where there is sufficient light. You must ensure you are the only person in the room during the exam and there is no disturbance. Do not entertain any other person in the room.
• Do not contact/talk to anyone or take assistance from anyone during the exam.
• Do not keep any text or bits of paper or any material/notes/rough paper with you during the exam.
• Do not access any other site/screen on your laptop/Personal computer during the exam.
• Do not try to log in from multiple devices.
• Do not google or search from any other source.
• Do not lip-sync or read the questions aloud.
• Do not cover your face with hair/mask/clothing or anything else.
• Do not have any background noise/voices/music//TV.
• You are not allowed to have food/beverage during the exam except for water.

The SRMJEEE result can be checked from the official website of the institution by entering the application number and password. SRMJEEE result 2025 will comprise details such as the rank of the candidate, qualifying status and procedure for participating in the counselling process. Students who qualify for the exam will be eligible for admission to the institute, subject to meeting other eligibility criteria. The SRMJEEE result is also intimated to the candidates via their registered email ids. Rabks for each phase of the exam are released separately.

The institute conducts online SRMJEEE counselling for admission of the eligible candidates with SRMJEEE rabks. Candidates are offered seats based on their ranks in the entrance exam, the preferred choice of branch & campus and the availability of seats.

The SRMJEEE e-counselling process includes the following steps:

1. Login to the Application Portal & Click on the Admission Portal
2. Choice Filling
3. SRMJEEE seat allotment result
4. Allocation Acceptance (only for allocated candidates)
5. Proceed with the Payment of Counselling Fees (only for allocated candidates)
6. Download the PAL (only for allocated candidates) 
7. Payment of Balance Tuition Fee & online enrolment*(only for allocated candidates)

SRMIST don't release the SRMJEEE cutoff. The last cutoff rank was released in 2018. The SRMJEEE cutoff ranks indicate the last SRMJEEE rank until which SRMIST took admission in various BTech courses. The cutoffs depend on various factors, like:

• Difficulty level of the exam
• Number of seats available in the institute
• Demand for a course
• Number of candidates appearing in the entrance exam
