Aligarh is a city in Uttar Pradesh. In SSC GD it comes under central region. Agra (3001) and Meerut (3011) centres are near to Aligarh. So you can opt for these centres for SSC GD.

To get selected as a GD in BSF, you need to qualify for the SSC GD exam with a good score. You should allocate at least six months to studying for this test. To get selected for the SSC GD you can use the following advice from professionals:

The SSC GD Constable Exam is conducted to recruit constables for general duty GD in multiple forces. You can join the following Central Armed Police Forces after passing the SSC GD for Constable (General Duty):
1. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
2. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
3. Sashastra Seem Bal (SSB)
4. Secretariat Security Force (SSF)
5. Border Security Force (BSF)
6. Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)
7. National Investigation Agency (NIA)
8. You can also join the Assam Rifles for the post of rifleman (general duty). The SSC GD pay scale is Level 3 and ranges from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100.
