You can apply separately for SSN using your TANCET score if you want to join through management quota. Last date for applying SSN through govt quota then please apply for the counseling. The registrations have started. You can apply for the same in online. check the Anna university website. The last date for applying for counseling is also on July 15th.

MBA is a very short and highly learning oriented program. The amount of effort that a student is expected to put is significant. MBA has been made residential to enable students stand up to the expectations of industry so that their placement opportunities are realized. Each student is provided with a single room accommodation with wi-fi connectivity to connect them to the stream of learning processes.

Placement is not a guarantee. It depends on how well you project yourself to the company. The placement percentage have been around 80- 85% till now. And yes there are chances for you to change your field from programming if you pursue MBA, as the course is all about management.

It depends on your interest. If you really want to pursue MBA in Chennai under Anna university, then joining SSN is a good choice. ( Among the colleges affiliated to Anna university) . There are other B schools also in Chennai. At the end it depends in your constraints in selecting a college. Just write down the pros and cons , you would be able to decide better. The minimum salary will range from Rs.25000/- to Rs.30,000/- p.m .

Please upload X, XII and semester-wise UG mark sheets and TANCET scorecard to mba.admissions@ssn.edu.in and seek an opinion from admissions committee. If they suggest to apply, then go ahead with application process.

No. SSN has only four specialization. Hr, operations,marketing and finance. And SSN offers dual specialization where marketing is compulsory.

For government quota, we will not be able to advise as we have to wait for TANCET 2016 ranks. If you wish to apply under management quota, you can apply as your score is above the cutoff that we desire for management quota admission. Before you apply,please check for our eligibility criteria by downloading the application form from our website www.som.ssn.edu.in. Kindly note that SSN charges the same fee for both government quota and management quota seats. You can also apply under management quota by visiting the site www.som.ssn.edu.in. Please note that SSN charges the same fee for both type of seats (management quota and government quota). The cutoff depends upon the first mark. The cutoff will be released only after the TANCET result is published.
